Recently I came across this article on Carsonified.com that goes over a questionnaire designers and developers might use to evaluate web projects. That got me thinking - Is there a way for my business to diversify by utilizing or creating a web application for it? And with that thought the wheels really started to turn.  I do web design and development and so I might consider expanding by partnering with a programmer to do the actual design and development work. However, I really started thinking about my clients and how they might be able to expand as well. As far as other businesses and business ideas I would imagine that some might do very well as a iphone/android app. Have you thought about this?

It's vitally important in our social media and information-rich age that for those businesses looking to capture greater market share and expand their business that they make it easy for their existing customers and potential customers to do business with them.  There are a variety of ways to do this, and I think that by this time just about everyone has recognized the need to at the very least every business needs to have a website. But taking that a step further the next step is to find ways to take your site beyond just being an informational brochure about your business. How can your customers interact with you online? Are you on Facebook? Are you using Twitter? Those are also essential elements to any modern marketing strategy, but with the unbelievable popularity of the iPhone and Android mobile devices, the next thing to think about is seeing if your business would do well to expand in to this market.
